This is the highlight of the game due to the tough loss. This was a high-speed foul ball that sent everyone around me ducking and scrambling. Luckily I had a glove the my dad brought. This is why it is good to have one on the first row. The guys behind me kept thanking me cause it was headed straight for them. I guy walked down the steps for a high five. The Security guard shook my hand. A black guy selling burahs came down and said I would be on sportcenter. And as I was walking out a couple guys noticed my Jaundo jersey and told me it was a good catch. I sound like I am bragging cause I am. Ok just kidding. It was some self defense and some natural baseball instinct. The cheers felt good though.

I have spent the night examining this clip as if it were the Zapruder 8mm from that deadly day in Dallas that keeps Obama from visiting North Texas. It looks like the title of "The Catch" may be a bit misleading. I see a man (identified as one Craigory R. Frampton) appear to make a play on the ball at around the 16 second mark. At the 17 second mark it appears the ball clangs off his glove and hits the ledge in front of Mr. Frampton, rolls off the ledge and drops to the ground. From :18 thru :24 second mark, Mr. Frampton appears to bend over to retrieve something. Was this the ball? Did you pull a Stubbsonian drop and quickly recover? Why not a more jubilant celebration in order to gain more time on ESPN? I celebrate your possession of this baseball from the playoffs but submit this thread should be retitled "The Retrieve"!

I never saw the ball and the head down arms up celebration was weird. I expected something awesome like the Hitler salute.

1. I had my towel on my neck cause it was burning in the sun. It fell off when I hopped out of my seat. I reached down to pick up the towel with my throwing hand while keeping the ball in my glove which I then used to acknowledge the crowd. It does look like what you said though.
2. I have always hated the over-celebrator of a foul ball retriever and I think I had burned it into my brain to not be "that guy." (Ill just celebrate it when I get home and put it on youtube) I also think they fact the the Rangers were losing may have something to do with it. And a third thing my be cause it hurt my hand and sped my heart-rate up a little so I just sat down and took a couple of deep breaths. It was an uncatchable ball without a glove and I dont know what the hell I would have done had I not had one.
3. So in conclusion: Picked up towel not ball and it was an intense moment that I didnt want to over-celebrate.

I think this would be more appreciated on a nice big HD tv. So if you recorded the game go to the top of the 5th.

Well the problem is I was not looking at you. I thought you were the guy behind you who stands up with both arms in the air. My bad, watch it again and look at the guy in blue right behind you.

I saw him, he was quite excited. The guy right behind me pats me on the back immediately cause it was going straight at him. Their friends called during the game making fun of them cause they saw them duck out of the way.

Everyone was real impressed because they had recently witness Ian Kinsler botch a popup.
