Here's what I'm doing today...Bison Asada for lunch. Then, shooting all afternoon. Should be fun!
It’s almost time to Shoot! It's the 2010 Broken Clay to Benefit Young Life. Thing are Rocking! We are over 355 Shooters
committed and around 100 volunteers. Shirts, Glasses, Ear Plugs, Bibles,
and some other goodies will be packed in our super cool Backpacks next week. Over 50,000 shotgun shells have been ordered and will soon be at the Dallas Gun Club.
If you have not done so, we need our Sponsors and Teams to complete their registration forms as soon as possible! If you do not have a registration form, we have made the 2010 Registration Form available at the following
link: www.teamhumphrey.com/news_community.htm .
Highlights to Get Excited about:
Vermejo Park Ranch will be preparing breakfast and lunch at the shoot!
Ham-Egg-Cheese Croissants for Breakfast, and Bison Asada for Lunch! The Vermejo Park Ranch Sponsor Dinner will be Thursday Night September 23th – This Dinner will only be available to "Cavalry Level" sponsors (4 tickets / Cavalry Level Sponsorship). US Foods – will be providing food assistance and food storage for the dinner and the shoot.
Stress-Ball Drop: Thanks to Parish-Hare Electric Supply and Texas Aerial
form making the 2010 Stress-Ball Drop possible. We will be selling
Stress-Balls, loading them in the Jet Ranger, and throwing them out of the helicopter at targets for all our raffle prizes. They have some great prizes lined up! Balls are currently for sale – 1-$20; 3-$40; 5-$60 or 10-$100. If you want to purchase stress balls but cannot come to the event – Contact Mary Humphrey maryh@teamhumphrey.com.
The Silent and Live Auctions are promising great things as well. There are hunts, tickets, and some great stuff in the auction this year. We will send updates on the Auction Items next week. If you would like to donate something for the Auction – let me know ASAP.
OH YEA! WE ARE GOING TO SHOOT A LOT.
