Not really a situation.
Just normal interraction with a freshman in high school.
They're all idiots.

The Sooner fans I know aren't just happy to be there. I thought the debate was whether or not he was one of the top three coaches?
He's lost 5 BCS games in a row. The last win was the '03 Rose Bowl against Washington State. They were destroyed by West Virginia in the '08 Fiesta Bowl. He's beaten Texas once in the last 5 years. Just wondering how the name Big Game Bob Stoops has stuck???

I'd sure take him.
Most programs have never even played in five BCS games, much less won one.
He also has quite a few conference championships to his credit.

I have changed my mind and will take TCU to cover. GP made some remarks today at the Frog Club luncheon that alluded to an utter contempt for Art Briles.

One gets the sense that he holds grudges a little too tightly. He said that games like these are important from a recruiting standpoint because they can be the deciding factor for kids to go to TCU or Baylor. Baylor is telling kids that TCU doesn't play anyone...GP said he could just as well tell them that Baylor doesn't beat anyone...

That's something you might say in the offseason, not before a game.

Funny thing, they're both right. But only one has a chance to remedy the situation. Tcu is going to continue to play no one. Baylor isn't going to lay down for the frogs like a lot of people assume. They've played a lot of teams that are far more talented than tcu.

**************LOCK OF THE WEEK************
Georgia at home(-2.5) against Arkansas. Arkansas has no defense to compete at the SEC level and it's offense is ineffective. They are winless in SEC road games since 2008. The last time Arkansas beat Georgia was 1993. Bet the farm on the Dogs!

Interesting week.
UNC is only getting 1.5 at home against a GT team that suffered an embarrassing loss to Kansas last week, who was coming off a loss to North Dakota State. Josh Nesbit was atrocious. 5/15 passing and only 33 yards rushing on 15 carries. Even with the suspensions UNC has a really stout defense. This is a no-brainer to me.
VT/ECU VT is giving 19. Which Hokie team will show up? The first half of the Boise game team who probably couldn't have beaten the team that lost to James Madison or the second half of the Boise game team that dominated? Will Ruffin have them ready to play? The next good decision Tyrod makes might be his first. 19 pts is a lot of points to give...this was very low on my point list.
FSU/BYU Despite looking like OU against USC in a MNC game last week I think the Noles roll against Independent Brigham. I think BYU is done. They might just lose 6 games this year.
OU/AFA This is a juicy matchup. OU is laying 17. AFA is much improved and is on their way to being the #3 team in the MWC. They very well could be a ranked team by the end of the year. The cadets knocked the shit out of the Moron last week. The took what little dignity they had left, ate it raw, and stood over them while they emptied their bowls on the mother's faces, while drinking a caffeinated beverage. They racked up over 400 yards on the ground while holding BYU's passing attack to a total of 88 yards. Tim Jefferson at QB has proven to be a great decision maker in the option ground attack of the Falcons and for the first time in a long time opponents have to prepare for the forward pass. I think the key matchup will be the Falcon secondary against the Sooners' receivers. While not nearly as talented as the Seminole defense that resembled the panties of a 400-lb woman they are very disciplined and are captained by their outstanding CB Reggie Rembert. He was taken off on a stretcher two weeks ago but all reports are that he is at 100%. If he were on a BCS team there might be talk of him being an all-American. Can the Falcons win? Highly doubt it but I think it will be closer than the experts think. OU might not be mentally prepared after a huge win against a top 25 opponents. In fact, the Sooners might find themselves struggle to be mentally prepared for over the next two weeks.
UGA/Ark Difficult game to pick. The Dawgs gave a lackluster performance against USC last week. The Hogs have been pretenders for about 7 years now...as has UGA. The is the Pretender Bowl. I took the Hogs out of respect for Mike...may he rest in peace.
USC/Minn USC dropping 11.5. That's not nearly enough. The line should be 30+. I watched as South Dakata strolled into Minneapolis and knocked the living crap out of the Gopher defense. USC might have a clipped wing but they can still throw the football. South Dakota's signal caller forward passed his way to over 350 yards in the air. USC might just double that.
Wisc/ASU The Badgers are giving up 14 at Camp Randall. The Sun Devils have played Portland State and Northern Arizona. Enough said.
Neb/Wash The Huskies are getting 3 at home. Big Red hasn't been tested (quite frankly their OOC schedule is embarrassing) but they are stacked in talent. The Huskies lost to BYU at home in week one. This was my 20 pt game of the week.
Florida/Tenn Vols are getting 14 at home. This will be the ugliest game of the week but I think the Gaytors win big.
TCU/Gaylor The series is tied at 49-49-7. Before the breakup of the SWC this was one of the longest rivalries in college pigskin. The Horned Frogs will forever hold a grudge because students from Baylor burned down their school in Waco 100 years ago last spring. The two schools hate each other like Jews hate Hitler. GP says he didn't like the way the team practised this week. Will this be a letdown of the SMU after OU ilk? The line is 21. That's a lot of points. TCU has the physical talent to cover and then some. Do they possess the mental drive to execute?
Clemson/Auburn Clemson is getting 7 at Auburn. Auburn is going with a navy blue monochromatic color scheme. It's a bad look. Tigers win this one convincingly.
LSU/MSU The Tigers are giving 7 at home to the Bulldogs. LSU isn't deserving of their #15 ranking but the worst decision-maker behind center in the country lives in Starkville. This will get ugly and somewhere Sylvester Croom will giggle.
MSU/ND Yawn. Meh. Not worth any more of my time.
Texas/Tards Tards are getting 3 in the cestpool. This is going to be the second-ugliest game of the week. Texas's offense will look retarded but the Tard defense will look like Stephen Hawking. New Mexico, quite possibly the worst-coached team in the nation at any division, racked up 433 yards against the RR defense; 336 in the air. The Whorns will win convincingly but not big. 3 might as well be .5.
Iowa/AZ Doyle's mind will fry when he tries to mentally grasp the stats that the Hawkeyes will amass. The Wildcat defense is 3rd in the nation...they've played Toledo and the Citadel. Iowa hasn't been tested either but 1.5 is child's play. 35 is more realistic.
UH/UCLA I got nothing. Gut tells me going to the WC and playing a late game won't be easy for the Cougs. Take the Bruins at low points.

I had Georgia picked before you said this because I figured they would take charge at home. Your hogs looked pretty good. Mallett's pretty not bad.

In related news, Ole Miss has completed their search for a new mascot. They will now be known as the Ole Miss Tampons, since they are only good for one period and don't have a second string.
This joke kills on Razorback message boards.
