I've gone thru 3 big stages of grief over losing Berkman and Oswalt from my Astros team. I've been angry. I've been sad. And now I'm in the acceptance phase. I will admit that I cried to see Berkman in a Yankee's uniform. I think my brain is having a hard time accepting that. BUT I will say that the young guns on our team have come up, played their butts off, and are hustling to make it happen for us. If we keep playing like we are, then we could make a hard run at a wild card spot for playoffs. This team, sans the allstars, seems to have an awesome chemistry. We shall see. I'm just glad the Phillies are not doing so hot. Suck on that Oswalt.

i guess i'll just keep talking to myself about how awesome my astros are doing. longest win streak in club history and in baseball right now at 7 games. my young guys are making it happen.

Seriously...their longest winning streak in club history is 7 games??? I find that hard to believe.

Didn't they win 21 of 22 the end the season a few years back? I'm almost certain they've won more than seven in a row before.

There is no way that 7 in a row is the best win streak in club history. Even the Rangers have had streaks way longer than that.
I think its their longest win streak this year.
Also, they won't make the playoffs, although it would be awesome if they did.

i made a booboo. thank you all for jumpin on that and showin me how incredibly wrong i was. no excuse for my mistake.
we held the longest win streak in the NL central at the moment. TOTALLY different than club win streak record. my bad. at least yall FINALLY made a comment on my thread. i'll start posting more incorrect shit if thats what it takes haha.
