haha. I can't wait to hear Stubbs' spin.
I guess all that purple looks royal blue on camera. Nevermind the fact that there is orange splattered over almost every single section. Makes you wonder why all those wearing "purple" are stuck in the middle of all that orange. Only like 2 sections with actual significant amounts of purple in them.

Once again, BSU's colors were essentially the same as the Fiesta Bowl's. The purple was drowned out by the bright orange and blue. Being in a dome didn't help either as the lights are aimed on the playing field; not the seating bowl. The purple should show up rather well in the sunlight of Pasadena.

This page has a view of the stadium before the crowds arrived, just so we can get in front of the "Fiesta Bowl colors are Bright Orange and Royal Blue" argument. The seats are mostly gray. It's not like you could see them anyway, since it was so freaking sold out. stadiumgameday.com/gallery/?page_id=37&nggpage=2

And of the two sections Fisch mentioned, one is the band.

Stubbs is going to show up at the next RP show with a trenchcoat, a scowl, and a note left on the bed-side table.

Totally concur with you on Craig James, no wonder his son had problems at Tech. The pony express was pretty good, I watched it last night, never realized Dale Hansen was the guy who brought down the program.

The funny thing is, they never won a title, and A&M, among others, narrowly escaped penalties.
I still think the NCAA used SMU as an example, without having to punish the bigger schools.

After they realized how much it set back that program, they haven't used the 'death penalty' again, for the same types of violations.
