The unknows are still not known.
Let me get this straight...Bama loses to USC...both have one loss and Bama is still ranked higher? Oregon State has two losses against top 5 teams and a win against a top 10 team and the roaches...err, coaches, did not vote them into the top 25? Who in the hell is still voting for Miami, Maryland, Mississippi State, and Texas? Miami is just pathetic. John Blake could go in and coach better than what they have now. Great athletes but no athletic discipline at all. Incredibly low football IQ.

On ESPN a guy has projected Boise will be #1 when the BCS rankings come out.

I think you're wrong. Not really, I mean why not? If they beat the hell out of the crappy schools and win games against ranked teams put them in the NC. If they get killed then don't let them back in.

Yeah I must have seen the AP poll cause it had Oregon St at 24. Yeah, my rant was a mixing of both polls. Also, not sure what Nebraska did to impress the roaches enough to jump TCU. I'm of the opinion that the roaches poll is a sham anyway and represents a HUGE conflict of interest. On ESPN a guy has projected Boise will be #1 when the BCS rankings come out. Yeah, they are pretty high in most of the computers. TCU will probably be 3. Most of the computer's own predictors have BSU dropping considerably even if they win out.

Coaches polls are stupid. Most coaches dont even vote, they just let someone under them do it. College coaches dont have the time to watch many other games much less actually know who is deserving of votes.

Yeah, either a GA or the ASID votes. What I don't like is that you could have a scenario where teams are fighting it out for position in their conferece standings, end up tied, and the tiebreaker is poll position. Of course you're going to vote according to what will position you into a better bowl. Say Auburn and Florida, who don't play each other this year, end up 6-2 in league play but Florida loses to FSU at the end of the season to finish 9-3. If Urban Meyer had a vote, being the snake that he is, I could see him voting the Gaytors much higher than Auburn to put his team in a position for a better bowl and more $. There's very little accountability in this regard in the roaches poll.

SI just delivered a swift kick in the nuts to ESPN. They said "FU, we're going to decide who plays for the MNC, not you bastards." LSU/BSU in Glendale. Attachments:

Andrew Luck is awesome. I assume you all saw his run this past weekend. I like how after he knocked that guy out of the way he paused for a second in astonishment that he just did that.

I think Cam Newton might have a little bit to say about who's the best in the nation right now.
