Then, make every effort to add 4 more teams.
I would pass the invite along to Arizona and ASU for the South, then Tulsa and BYU for the North.

According to BAD radio they would remain at 10 schools and play 9 conference games a year. No Championship game, which would limit the amount of money schools receive. Of course ut wouldn't worry so much about that, since they would make more than everyone else anyway.

Chip Brown supposedly floated that rumor out on ESPN radio this morning. Hilarious.

Then in a few more years when tu thinks the time is right they will jump ship once again leaving everyone else out in the cold.

If all went according to plan, my Southwest Conference would look like this:
North - OU, BYU, OSU, Kansas, Missouri, Tulsa, K State, Iowa State South - ATM, TU, LSU, Arkansas, Arizona, ASU, TTU, Baylor
Championship game would go Dallas/KC/Phoenix...alternating every 3 years.
It would be badass.

Texas A&M regent Gene Stallings says he wants the Big 12 to survive — and would vote to keep the Aggies in the league if they don’t get a much better offer from another conference.
Stallings told The Associated Press on Monday that keeping the Big 12 together “would tickle me to death.”
It's over. The Aggie Regents are bending over.

Wow, I really can't believe all of this is falling apart right before my eyes. We had everything in our favor, and we are just pissing it away.

According to most sources yes. Also, Mike Slive (SEC commish) was in College Station on Saturday. I doubt he is going to come to town just to help us call tu's bluff.
