Well, he's returning home with 1733 hits after tearing the cover off the ball all week, going 13-33 on the roadtrip (.394 avg). He was 7-13 in Chicago (.538). He is really heating up at a good time to break this record at home, as I predicted.
15 hits to break the record. 7 games at home. If he gets 4 AB's per game, he's gonna have to hit .540 on the homestand to break this thing by my June 10th guess. I have faith in the guy. C'mon MY!

Damnit Stubbs I thought I disqualified you from this game. I dont want him to (maybe if there was lots of money involved), I am just saying if my prediction were to be right he would need to avg 1 hit per game. You are a Buzz kill.

When has Michael Young ever walked 10 times in a month? That's my only criticism about his hitting...he doesn't walk enough and that's why his OBP is always hovering around .400. That's fairly low for a guy hitting over .300.
