No we aren't. We are just a little (read a LOT) more realistic than you. You can still love a team without being a blowhard for them.
Plus, when have the Rangers ever given us a reason to be more optomistic than we are? I would say we are extending them far mor optomism than they deserve.
You are giving them more than the 1990's Dallas Cowboys deserved.

Just cause I said they'd sweep? While they where on a win streak? I wasn't calling for a playoff clinch or anything. I just need to offset the pessimism from y'all with some high quality optimism. And so far my optomstic views have been pretty solid. Except for anything good I may have said about rich harden, he can suck it.

Its not that you predicted one sweep. You always predict a sweep. Or a win, etc. I've never seen you predict a loss, or even a bad outing or anything of that sort. Nothing wrong with it. Maybe we do need some blind optimism to pull us out of the doldrums (sp?) of reality.
Who is so pessimistic anyways? I think we are all pretty encouraged by this team.

That sucks.
It'll be a nice mowing shirt afterwards, though.

Id say it be a better dust towel. It was incredible how many cubs fans were at the game. When they hit their first HR on Saturday it sounded like we were in Chicago. It made me hate the Cubs, when before I didn't really care either way.

What did you expect? Its the same way when the Red Sox or the Yankees are in town.
If we would win a little bit around here and create an actual franchise then it wouldn't be that way.

I expected it, just not to that extent. I guess not having the Cubs come to town ever altered my thinking.
Comment of the night: A Cubs couple was sitting behind me. The dot race is starting and they announce that the dots will be starting the race in the Stockyards. They show them running through Ft Worth on the jumbotron. The girl asks her boyfriend,"how long is it going to take them to get here?"

I can't stand Cubs fans. They're almost as bad Yankees and Red Sox fans.

I think they are worse, at least the yanks and sox have won something in the last 100 years.

I agree with Finch. Cubs fans are far worse than the Sox and Yank fans and those fans are pretty bad. You would think fans of the losingest franchise in the history of sport would be a little more humble.

Funny how they talk trash about STL but STL has won 2 WS and gone three other times in my lifetime. All the Cubs have done is blame their failures on a fan trying to get a ball.

Yeah, their rivalry against STL is pretty intense. There is nobody that hates and derides the idiot Cub fan like the Cardinal fan. Lots of anti-Cub merchandise is available in your Cardinal Clubhouse store.
