My wife just brought to my attention the fact that the Pesos will be playing at Chilifest this year. Pretty dang cool.
I wish I wasn't too old to deal with Chilifest.

I'm pretty excited about this one. We are thinking about taking the next day off just to hang around and watch the bands.

That's a good idea, although you might need to plan on taking three days off to recover if you stay Friday and Saturday.

Yeah it was awesome. Badass stage, badass P.A., badass crowd. I loved it. We weren't able to stay the next day, but we got to hang out that night for a while. Good folks down there.

Who had to stay sober to drive out of there? Its pretty much a must unless you want to spend a night on a concrete floor.

I drove. I don't know if sober is how I would describe my condition but I was ok. I ended up driving all the way back to Denton. All the guys were asleep and I kept thinking to myself that I would wait till the next town to get rooms so we'd have less of a drive the next day. Eventually we were so close to home that it didn't make sense to stop anymore. That last hour was tough though.
