Right before MYs HR he check swung with 2 strikes and the ump said he didnt go around (looks like he might have). Next pitch he went yard. Shields was going nuts on the bench and Madden came out and got tossed.

I read on a live blog for DMN, that he def. went around, BUT...
That's the way baseball go.
BTW, the DMN live blog is freaking bogged down. No use for that thing.

And dont forget the playoff baseball lesson I taught a few weeks ago where the WC team never gets HFA unless in WS. Thus Rangers look as if they will get HFA vs the Yankees barring a meltdown. I hate the 2-3-2 system though. Playing 3 games in a row at one place in the playoffs just seems like a lot.

Yeah, but its really the only way in baseball where you play back to back nights most times.
If they went 2-2-1-1-1 it would mess up the flow of the series.
