You make a decent argument. And I don't know enough to dispute, but I stand by my comments earlier, just because.

I've made most of my picks so far. TCU/BSU is in the teens on confidence.

Its fine to stand by your comments. No reason not to. None of us know for sure.
The only difference is that I have reasons for my comments. Yours are unfounded.

I bet you do have the TCU/BSU game in the teens. Your record speaks for itself, right?

If Mizzou leaves, I could see Arkansas wanting into the Big 12. They will not ever be able to win the SEC west, and could compete for the Big 12 South (or north) every year.
Just a thought.

Now that I think about it, though, the Big 12 will not add TCU. It doesn't get them into a new tv market (to replace the St. Louis market that would be lost).
The Big 12 will have to go after someone like Utah or BYU. Probably BYU because of their huge following. They have a great stadium and atmosphere and are good at other sports.
If they were to land Arkansas, it would help, but not replace the entire media market that was lost with the exit of Mizzou.

The big 12 tv market sucks anyways. Its a damn shame we can't watch games like tech vs aggie but we can catch every big 11 game of the year.

maybe they'll look at UH again for big 12. Baylor did just barely edge us out to begin with.

Fischer has been reading Texags too much.
I doubt OSU wants to move to the North. Sure they have a better chance of winning right now, but they also lose the chance to play 2 games a year in the most talent rich state in the Nation. If they move to the North the most they have is 1. Also don't forget, when the Big 12 started everyone talked about how much better the North was than the South. Then things shifted and for the last 8-9 years the South has been better. These things go in cycles.
All of that said I don't see any way that this happens. It's fun to talk about, but in the end the Big 12 will be the same.

I don't read anything on Texags other than the general board and the outdoors board.
If anything I have said is on Texags its because we've all been reading the same articles, and because I am smart.

Pretty much everything you posted I have read on Texags over the last few days. That is why I say none of it will ever happen. Texags never gets anything right.

Although, I would support Arkansas moving into the Big 12, it will never happen. Too much money in the $EC. As far as Arkansas never being able to win the SEC West, they've done it 3 times.

I know, cowtown, I was just joking.
Finch, I read some of what I saw in articles. The rest was just my thoughts. I was just opining.
On another note...I talked to two of our coaches who went to OSU. They got a little giddy when I asked them if they would want to move to the North. They thought it would be the best thing to ever happen to them. The rest of our coaching staff agreed. I think OSU is going to be coming by tomorrow. If they are, I am going to ask them what they would think.
As far as recruiting Texas kids, they would still be able to just as easy. They will play at least one texas team every year and in Texas at least once. The other North teams recruit extremely well in texas. In fact, I think being in the north would help recruiting leaps and bounds. Winning will do that.
