I think Cincinnati is extremely overrated but will probably go undefeated and get to play someone like TCU or Boise in a BCS game.

They haven't played a single team that would finish in the top 3 of the Big 12 south or either SEC division.
Good team, but they are going to be undefeated and have what is probably the 8th-12th best team in the nation.
tu OU tceh (possibly) Florida Alabama Ole Miss (possibly) LSU Va. Tech Georgia Tech Miami USC Oregon
would all beat Cincinatti

Southeastern Missouri.
Yea I guess they don't have much of a resume so it makes it hard to judge them. We may never know. I suppose South Florida is their best win.

Yeah, Cincy is overrated right now. I'm not concerned with them. I think we should be ahead but win your games and things will take care of themselves. I think Pitt and WVA will beat them.
Did you see how the ACC will decide who plays in the championship game if GaTech, VaTech, and Miami win out? If one team is within 5 places in the BCS of the team in the lead (right now Miami) then they put names in a hat and draw. WTF?
But if VaTech stumbles I think Miami will be sitting pretty because Cincy will fall. I firmly believe TU is on borrowed time as is Iowa. Their schedule could carry them past USC.
The Frogs are close enough to Boise that I think they could get a boost in the computers and maybe the polls if they win out. I'm just a little purplexed that Boise didn't take a hit like TCU did last week after looking very average against Tulsa and were very fortunate that the Golden Showers' qb sucks. But like I said, if they don't win out it won't matter.
OU's loss this weekend hurt Miami and TCU's schedule strenth but hopefully it won't matter too much at the end of the season.

Just curious, how does OU's loss effect TCU's strength of schedule? How many degrees of separation does TCU have to use to get to a quality opponent for SOS?

BYU beat OU. Had OU won it would have helped BYU in the computers and if TCU wins Saturday then it gives them a better win. A win Saturday still gives them a good boost. Mike, when you get into Al Goreisms everything is connected...

OU is a 3 loss team. I wouldn't think they could positively effect anyone's SOS. Is that all TCU has to hang their hat on?

No but we all know any little bit helps. Whether you're fighting to play for the MNC, just to get into the BCS, or just trying to win your division to play for the conference championship, every little bit helps.
The BCS did away with quality win points a few years ago, didn't they?
