that little soliloquy might work on Miss. St. and Vanderbilt. It doesn't against The Aggies of A&M.
WE, too have conference titles, a National Title, much tradition and much pride in being Aggies.
We, as Aggies, do not subscribe to the notion of serious trash talking. There might be some good natured ribbing, but nothing more.
Now, if you are concerned with noise levels, I suggest you bring some ear plugs. We are Aggies. We yell.
Don't be surprised when you see me mugging down with Julie after an Aggie score. We are Aggies, when the team scores, so do we.
Don't be surprised if we sing the "Spirit of Aggieland." We went to the finest institution in this country, we are damned proud of it. Deal with it.
We don't have a fight song. We have the "Aggie War Hymn." Fight songs are for high schools. We sing the War Hymn loud and we sing it proud. Don't worry, you will not be harmed in the singing of the War Hymn.
Another thing you will notice about the Aggie fan. He is extremely knowledgable of the game and expects you to be as well. So no BS football strategy will be spoken during the game unless it is applicable. I don't want to hear "go for it" on 4th and 30 from your own 10.
One fortunate (for you) side effect of watching the game at my (an Aggie) house is that you will be treated with respect, and will be offered the best seat in the house(my recliner) and only the finest foods (ribs and tenderloin and burgers) and beverages (Lonestar Beer) that I have to offer.
Also, as Aggies, if we are so unfortunate as to get outscored (we never lose) you will be treated with class. Aggies are not classless babies. We HATE being outscored, but respect is never lost, and credit must be given where credit is due.
I look forward to this Saturday's contest.

But seriously:
I don't have much confidence in our team. Hard to overlook last week's blowout and what kind of effect that has on a team's confidence. I will say that this game will determine our season. In spite of last weeks result, I did see some improvement on defense and I think we will be ok on offense against the Aggies. The fact that A&M's schedule so far has been questionable does give me a little hope. To me this game will answer the question of which is better: well rested or battle tested?
Having said that, I'll call it:
Hogs 35 Aggies 31

That was entertaining.
I won't be able to make this, regrettably. My dad decided he wants to go hunting and get out of the house for the weekend, for the first time. So, we'll be going to Quanah to shoot some dove and check my game camera.
Have fun boys, and let me know how the food turns out.

I can't keep this bit up. GO HOGS! BEAT THE AGGIES!!! I am looking forward to the game this weekend but I do not want any problems. Whenever I watch a Razorback game with opposing fans, I make it a point to get a few things cleared up before the game starts. First off, you guys are playing The University of Arkansas. We are not some 2nd rate team from some backwards conference. Arkansas is among the elite. The best. A tradition that goes back a long way. A National Championship, many bowl wins, SWC Championships, high national rankings, etc. The list goes on. With that resume comes respect. The kind of respect that can only be earned. We Arkansas fans carry that respect and a few things need to be understood. When your team plays the University of Arkansas, you are seeing one of the movers and shakers in all of college football and our fans are no exception. First, there will NOT be any yelling in my ear during the game. I darn well don't plan on driving all that distance to your house to have some Aggie yell in my ear. I will ask you one time to stop and no more. I don't mind clapping but this incessant yelling is out. If you continue then I will take a physical solution that you will not like. I will NEVER provoke but if you guys think that yelling in my ear is gonna be tolerated you are in for a big surprise. If I have to go to the restroom I don't wait in line, I go to the front. This is an area where I have encountered some problems before so I am just making it clear now. An Arkansas fan has earned the right to not wait in some bathroom line and we choose to not do it. If you do decide to make an issue out of it then be prepared to face a physical solution. Ditto for concessions. We go to the front of the line. Not out of spite or to try to show you up. It is all about showing respect, folks. Again, if you have a problem with this I advise you to keep away from me. I am very upfront and honest when I tell you that it aint nothing for me to up and kick a man's ass. Done it several times and I'll do it again if pushed. NEVER will I provoke, though. It is YOU that determines my actions. If you understand where I as an Arkansas fan is coming from and what is expected then we will have a great time and no problems will ever arise. Please understand that I am NOT coming to cause problems as that is the last thing on my agenda. It is a tradition and respect that Arkansas has and you need to realize this. We can laugh and have a good time but I just wanted to get a few things understood beforehand. I hope all goes well and there are no problems. I remember this from a couple of years ago. Only you posted like it was from a longhorn fan. Then you said it was from a Bama message board. Good bit.

I think as long as me, finch, bryan, and Framp are there you will have plenty of people to taunt.
If the Ags win, though...
