Yes if kitna was playing Sunday we probably would have won. BUT, I still don't think Kitna would be good enough to win other games throughout the year, cause when romo does good he does real good.

Give me the guy who gives our team the best chance to win week in and week out.
Not someone who will cost us a game and turn around and win us a game. I want the one who doesn't make stupid mistakes and plays big in big games.

This is definitely a make or break year for Romo. If he doesn't find a way to get things done soon he will be in very hot water. And as Fischer said stats mean absolutely dick in the NFL. Romo puts up great stats early in season, but is one of the worst QBs in the league in November and December when the games count the most.

Musers looked at this today. Out of arguably his 10 most important games, Romo has a 60 QB rating for the career.

Cowboys only losing by 2 with minus 4 in the turnover column shows me that they do have the potential to when games this year. Especially when this was against what some say is the top nfc team. Hang in there Romo, Sully is a baseball fan. Totally agree, I feel like that loss was thrown down by the football gods to smite the Sodom and Gomorrah that is the new Cowboys stadium. "And verily I say to thee, a ball shall bounce off of a foot, and it shall fall perfectly in the hands of the enemy, and thou shalt pay the price for the golf thou hath played this offseason."

Ok but what has kitna done in his carrer to make you think he would do better? Has he won 13 games in a season? Has he won a playoff game yet? Even though romo hasn't won a playoff game I don't see how you can tell me that kitna is a more viable option. A crayton dropped pass in 2007 is the difference between a playoff win and who knows what else and a NYFG super bowl. I know you can't look at singular plays and say what if but sometimes one play can change so much. There is no way we would win as many games with kitna in than with romo in the whole year. For example I don't think the passes that romo made and scored on in week one would have had the same outcome if kitna would have thrown them. Kitna may be able to not lose games but I don't think he can win them. I also rremember many years of him in det and cin where he racked up picks as well.

This is the only part I disagree with. " A crayton dropped pass in 2007 is the difference between a playoff win and who knows what else and a NYFG super bowl. I know you can't look at singular plays and say what if but sometimes one play can change so much. " I understand what you are trying to say but the fact of the matter is one play does not determine the outcome of a game. I'm sure there where plenty of plays in that game that didn't go the Giants way but great teams find a to overcome those and win. If the Cowboys had won Giants fans would talk about the same thing regarding some other play. The simple fact is the Giants were a better team on that afternoon.

Weekend grade: C
Once again, Arkansas is humiliated on national television, but Ole MIss and NUtt are exposed for the pretenders they are and the Cowboys get a win.
