I think Northestern, Vanderbilt and Baylor should start a conference.

Baylor is good at almost every sport except for football. They will be a lot better at football in the near future.
Every conference has bottom dwellers. Even the mighty SEC has Vanderbilt, MSU, and Kentucky.

MSU is not that bad, buddy. In fact, I would take them off the list of bottom feeders and add Arkansas.

They have been awful the last few years. They may not be as terrible this year as in the past, but they still won't go to a bowl. Just like baylor last year.

I doubt they make a bowl this year, they need to win 2 out of 3 against Alabama, @ark, and Ole Miss. I think they have a good coach that recruits well and will get them to respectable next year. Nutt better worry...

They sound exactly like Baylor.

I say replace Baylor with UH. At least they know that we can box.
On a side note, I read something in the paper this morning about UH now looking into rebuilding Robertson stadium and Hoffeinz Pavillion. I guess they think that 3 winning seasons is worth replacing a stadium built back in 1941. Too bad the only time they've sold it out was against Tech this year.

Coach-What do you think of the Oregon win against USC? Does that make Boise's win over Oregon the most impressive win of any of the non-BCS conference schools?

Baylor>>> Houston in football potential and other sports. Sorry KL.
They are trying to keep up with the jones' so to speak when it comes to facilities. They want to keep sumlin there and become a Boise or a TCU type program. Which is possible if they can get some nice facilities.

I thought Sumlin was the next coach at A&M? Is everybody happy with Sherman now?

The main sports are football and men's basketball. The rest fall in line after those two.
Sumlin's timeline won't add up to A&M's. By the time the Ags are looking for a new coach, Sumlin will already have a big time job. No matter if the Ags went 3-9 this year they weren't going to be able to afford to fire Sherman anyways.

Ag's are bowl eligible with one more win. I think they need to offer Sherman an extension.
