You should give the cowboys more credit for their KC win cause it was pretty chilly out there.

Good call. If they helped either team, it would be TCU.

So Arky St. and Northern Iowa helps Iowa's schedule? I really have no problem with Iowa being in front on them but if TCU was already in front I don't see what Iowa did to leap them. Same with Miami. I thought Miami should have been ahead of them to begin with but I don't see how blowing out Florida A&M helped them any.
Fischer, you of all people should know how weather can be a great equalizer and it plays heavily into the favor of the home team. Why do you think Miami used to dominate in September for so many years? Why do you think they put such an emphasis on home field advantage in the playoffs for teams like Green Bay, Chicago, and Pittsburgh. You put a team not conditioned to such conditions up against a team who is (add mental preparation for the cadets) and it can be a huge advantage.
Look at the Dallas/Pittsburgh game last year. Dallas won in almost every facet of the game-total yards, rushing yards, passing yards, first downs, TOP, 3rd down efficiency-except turnovers. Pitt's offense was used to those conditions and could adequately prepare for them. Dallas wasn't and couldn't. We all saw the game. Dallas should have won but didn't. Put them in just "chilly" conditions like yesterday at KC and Dallas probably wins by 10 points.

Both teams have a pretty good idea of the weather going in to the game. It's called a game plan. Not to mention you are talking apples and oranges when it comes to NFL and College Football.

Not to mention:
Miami used to dominate September because they had the best players in the country. What have they done the last few septembers? Did the weather suddenly change out of their favor?
Weather isn't an equalizer. It favors defense. That is stupid.
Home field advantage is such an important factor because you get YOUR FANS. You know, the ones who yell loud and make it an inhospitible environment for your opponent.
The fact of the matter is, I have never seen someone make so many excuses as you do. They are pathetic, and its laughable.

Picks this week are kind of difficult.
I feel like there isn't a sure fire 16 pointer. Some people (myself included) are in danger of losing big this week because the games are all about the same difficulty to pick.
My 16 pick was as hard to pick as the 3 pick. I don't like that.

This could be a huge week. Tons of games and lots of games that could go either way.
