Hard to tell. He would sing a couple of lines and then stop, then hum a few lines. It was all done in whisper sing.

So gay.
Momma Sully called me to say TMWII was playing on that Wichita Falls station first thing this morning.

I called last Sunday to request TMWII and Scotty Preston, the program director, of the WF station answered and the conversation went as follows,
Sarah: "Hi, I would like to request Tell Me What It Is, by Rodney Parker and 50 Peso Reward."
SCotty P.: "I DO NOT like that song, I do not like that song, I do not like that song."
Sarah: Silence.
Scotty P.: "I even consulted with the band not to release that song."
Sarah: Silence.
Scotty P.: "YOu must think I am an ass."
Sarah: "Well yeah, and I was just thinking what other Rodney Parker and 50 Peso Reward song you might play."
Scotty P.: "How about Atlantic City?"
Sarah: "Okay. Thanks."

The song is called North Dakota. Buffalo does appear in the chorus. I couldn't remember the second verse and after that I got lines all mixed up. I was well on my well to being in a bad way. Mike couldn't hear because he was on the other side of the gayrage. Fischer liked it. Wish I could have remembered the rest. It's a fine line between drinking enough to have the balls to play in front of people and drinking too much that you make an ass in front of the people you had to summon the courage to play before in the first place.

Let's leave Fischer's stirring rendition of the Enrique Iglesias classic "Hero" out of this discussion. Let's just give the man a little latitude here, he was expressing his love for his bride as he serenaded her. In fact, she was so moved that she had to leave the party shortly after his solo.

Ha! I missed out on all this.
Let me guess...Stubbs sings in that awkward quiet whispery tone.

Funny that she can get the Ranch down there but Fischer can't get it at his house 15 miles from the station.

Yup, I get it well here. If it is static-y, I just stream it on the computer.
