He'll hold down a roster spot behind Romo and Kitna.

According to some Longhorn fans, he's also kind of a hothead. Is this true? He won me over his freshman year when three longhorns tattooed him in the open field. He got up, got in their face and told them to bring some more. If that is being a hothead I'll take an entire team of them.

He'll hold down a roster spot behind Romo and Kitna. That's actually a good thing for him. He isn't ready to play let alone try and lead his team to victory. I predict he will get his shot as a starter in three to four years. He may not make anything of it but he will get his shot. Romo's leash gets shorter and shorter every December.

I agree.
I think the easiest path to success for an NFL qb is to sit for a couple of years and learn the NFL game. SM will get his shot with the Boys in a few yrs.

yes, that is entirely blamed on injury. He tried to play in those games but could not go. Oh, someone else mentioned it too. Maybe Meyer. Fischer is right. He was a gametime decision in several of those games.

If I was the coach, I'd help the kid out too.
Say it's a game time decision based on his injuries, in order to cover up and save him from a life of embarrassement that he got benched.

Funny that you downgrade these valid points when they disagree with yours...
I stand by my comment.

you were being serious?
Those points are far from valid. They are ridiculous.

If I was SM, I'd feel like I owed Fran and Sherman part of my first bonus check for keeping me behind the injury curtain, so I wouldn't get exposed.

The only games he didn't start when Fran was there was when he was a redshirt, and the first 10 games of his RS freshman year. He started the rest of the games Fran was there.
Again, this is a terrible, terrible troll.

those were the games he was hurt in. I guess he could have faked the surgery and all of that rehab he did. I am sure it was all a big play to get him into the NFL.
