Nice. Complete with quotes from Rodney and everything. RP needs to look into changing his cell service provider.

Yeah, I've never seen quotes from Rodney. Pretty cool.
Honky-tonkified...that's how I'll describe them to people...

Before Stubbs can ask:
Out and about Compiled by David Burger Article Last Updated: 03/20/2008 06:44:29 PM MDT
Show of the week Rodney Parker & Fifty Peso Reward When: Tonight at 9 Where: Monk's House of Jazz, 19 E. 200 South, Salt Lake City Tickets: $5 at door Why go: Monk's House of Jazz brings a bona-fide country rocker to its cozy confines tonight, with Rodney Parker & Fifty Peso Reward straight from north Texas. The band's latest album, "The Lonesome Dirge," drops March 28. "We like to push country as far as you can push it," Parker told The Salt Lake Tribune on a fuzzy phone somewhere between Phoenix and Los Angeles. On the latest record, "we broadened our ideas of what country could be," he said. That includes a hard-stomping, steel guitar-infused cover of "Atlantic City," which author Bruce Springsteen himself has reworked so many different ways. "We all loved the tune," Parker said. "It fit in the album. We did our own arrangement, our own spin." (And he guaranteed he would play the tune by way of apology for poor cell-phone reception.) Fans will be able to pick up an early copy of the honky-tonkified album at the show, and unlike some performers who fall out of love with albums as soon as they are pressed, Parker can't contain himself: "We're super excited. We can't wait."

Yeah, I've never seen quotes from Rodney. Pretty cool. Honky-tonkified...that's how I'll describe them to people... I wish he could have worked in a "play 'em one song at a time" or a "we're just happy to play our music for you fine folks here in _______"

That would have went over well up in that Utah. I bet most guys would have brought several of their wives to the show.

Too bad for Fat Joe, Rp50pR is going to be pulling all the music fans to their show tonight. Could be a rough one for that fat bastard.
