Hopefully, while I'm out of the country we'll claim the division lead. I'm holding my breath til I get back.

So much for Optimistic Framp.
Tough loss yesterday. You just cannot lose a series to Twin. Dammit!

This week will determine our season. If we lose any of these series (TOR/ BAL/ CLE), we don't deserve to be in the playoffs anyway.

Minn has played them tough for several years now. They are like what the Tigers used to be to the Rangers in the early 90s.
My brother was jumping off the ledge yesterday. Told him to calm down and that almost started a family feud. It's a tough loss but they still went 5-4 on the road trip. This week will be the key. LAA will be going through a tough stretch in addition to the 7 games we have left with them. There's still a lot of ball to play but like Mike said, these next 13 games will be key. Anything less than 8-5 will sink them into a deeper hole.

Well. They didn't hit the 8-5 mark.

Rangers are done.
Time to think about the future.
1) Start shopping Josh Hamilton. Guy is injury prone and ripe for another relapse. He also can't hit the long ball anymore since he went off his ADD meds/steriod masking agent.
2)Get rid of Millwood. He's no Ace.
3) Resign Pudge and Marlon Byrd. Teagarden can't hit and Salty is a question mark. Byrd is a gutty player and team leader.
4) Lose Blalock and Andruw Jones.
5) Hide Cruz's glove. DH from now on.
Stay tuned for more.

I don't really disagree or agree with any of it.

I agree. I think they're done. No Hammy til Friday and MY won't be back until next week. Balt's pitching wasn't great at all but the holes in the lineup were exposed over the weekend. Plus, Milly hasn't pitched 7 innings since June and Holland can't get anyone out.

Should have delt Holland for Haliday. That non-move should cost JD the Exec of the Year Award.

Still a good year for the Rangers. If they make a few smart moves in the offseason they should be primed for another playoff run in 2010.
