I disagree with Kentucky on this one. I think he's a great coach. Two years is not long enough to judge him. If he had UK in the NCAA, they wouldn't care about that "ambassador for the program" crap.
I would help him move and keep his water bottle filled with Jim Beam if he would coach Arkansas.

I think both sides are at fault here. Kentucky for have very unrealistic expectations and BCG for not playing the "game" off the court as well as on it. Had he done a better job of politicking off the court he would still have a job, if you are going to be an asshole you also have to be a winner.
I really hope he doesn't get a job in the Big 12, that would suck donkey balls.

I hear the Memphis coach is interested in that job. Does it pay a lot more? Why would he want that job instead haven't they had 3 years straight with 30 plus wins?

yeah.
But no matter what happens, Kentucky is viewed as one of the top 3 or 4 jobs in the sport. Its like Michigan, texas, or Notre Dame in football.
BCG had a great thing at A&M, but couldn't resist the thought of leading kentucky back to greatness.

Has that ever happened before?
Coach gets fired. And takes over for replacement?

Has that ever happened before? Coach gets fired. And takes over for replacement? yeah, I bet its happened before. I think there might have been a coordinator/head coach swap with Iowa St. and Auburn this year.

If calapari takes the job he will be the highest paid coach in the ncaa I believe, something like 5 mil a year.

I hope, I would really like him out of the Big 12. Also talk of OU's coach going to Arizona.
Cal will be good for Kentucky, but I predict he will get in to recruiting trouble again before his tenure there is over.
