BlackBass=Largemouth WhiteBass=Sand Bass Brown Bass=Smallmouth
Then you have: Spotted Bass (looks exactly like a Large mouth, just has a tongue spot and a very slightly smaller mouth) Striped Bass Hybrid Striped Bass (Striper X Sandy) Crappie Yellow Cat=Flathead Cat Channel Cat Blue Cat

bream is a bait fish
That all came straight from my head. I spend quite a bit of time reading the TFF and Bassmaster magazine.

Bream is by far the best bait for monster cats... Put a hook through the back, and open the guts up a little bit... and hang on to your pole.. I've caught many a big high fin blue that way.

Bream is a bait fish??
Nothing wrong with a mess of bream. Makes a fine meal.

From a bait standpoint, they rule. If you get a big mess of bream, it's worth it in my book to gut them, fry them whole, and enjoy. The bones aren't big enough to make a difference for my eating preferences. I love a good and salty fried fishtail.
