I didn't know I was going fishing until Sat. The numbers don't count in the LSAOY totals. We will fish again soon. No need to find a new fishing partner.

This competition will end Saturday August 8, 2009. Sully and I will be fishing that morning, and having a cookout at one of our houses that night for the crowning of the 2009 Lonestar Angler of the Year. Results will not be updated in this competition after July 4th. That way, the results will be a surprise to everyone in attendence. Is this still on? |

Is there some type of Crown involved? Not like a literal gold crown, but something that will hold bragging rights on a mantle or shelf for a year?

I was at Fischers the other day and he already had the trophy engraved with his name on it and sitting on his mantle.

I told him that would be fine until the awards ceremony. You have to ease him into reality at times.

He had special effect lighting on it and he was getting a billboard on I20 congratulating him on his victory.
