Not only is this a horrible review, but it is very poorly written. How on earth do you publish such bullshit? This is formed more like a personal attack rather than an objective review of music. Did the writer even listen to the album? Tell me something about it, besides that it is bad. Why is it bad? It looks to me like you needed to rush something in here, and just added it last minute. This is the sorriest excuse for editing. How do you let this stuff get by?



A few examples of shitty grammar: "...idea of what Rodney Parker sounds like."

or "...anything there worth bothering with."



Take a damn grammar or composition class before you go to writing in an actual publication. This paper is a joke to the university and the state.



Please respond with some sort of explanation, as I can get no response from Rhian Hibner.

I do not know who to address this to specifically, but I have a problem with the article that was published on the 6th of March. I am not in the band, or in touch with Rodney Parker, but I take offense to this review (linked below). I don't know whether Hibner has a personal vendetta against the band, or if he is just jealous. Either way, to allow such mindless trash to be published reflects very poorly on this paper and especially the university. You would be surprised who gets ahold of the articles that are published in this paper. I understand that not everyone is going to like a certain band. But for someone to so ignorantly attack a band, with so little accuracy and so little true knowledge or credibility, is laughable. What is also sad is that you let this article get published. Its embarrassing.
Another problem is that I have posted comments but they have been denied approval. How hypocritical is it that I cannot say something that is critical in a professional and educated manner, yet you get to abuse the power you have and publish garbage? I would like some sort of response and I think it would behoove you to print a retraction. In the future, please have a little tact in deciding what to publish.
