He was 1000x's the leader that Raffy could ever be. If Romo had a tenth of his leadership skills maybe he could win a game after Thanksgiving.

I have heard Clark was a grade A jerk, but on the field he always looked like he gave 100% and would call a player out if he felt he was loafing.

I agree that he gave good effort.
So does T.O. T.O. also calls people out if he feels like they need to be.
Just because you are a loud mouth doesn't make you a leader.

I don't think Will Clark cared as much about his personal stats as T.O. does. TO wants to win , as long as he is featured as the reason for winning. I think Will Clark just wanted to win.

In football, everyone plays "hurt" every week.
"hurt" in baseball is you clipped your finger nail too short.
He was not any more hurt than anyone is on a football team. He just made it a point to make sure everyone knew about it.

Dude, he didn't talk about it all year. He pretty much broke his elbow on the railing going after a fowl ball. He struggled the rest of the year but never said a word. I remember him getting pissed at Gerry Frailey for asking him about being hurt. He never really got over the injury and he career flamed out after that.
Will gave it his all. Romo "loafs" around in practice. I don't recall Will going to Mexico in the days between 162 and game 1 of the ALDS.

If he had 2 weeks in between games he might have gone to mexico, if he could find someone who could stand to be around him long enough to go there.
Which practice did you go watch Romo loaf around at? How many practices of Will the Thrill's were you in attendence for?

Also, how do you know will clark didn't? Because he can't smile? I think that is more a tribute to how big of a prick he is.
