He tries to be a hero WAY too much. Sometimes it's like he says "I don't know what to do so I'll throw it long and hope someone catches it." Ah yes... the famous NGD.

I think we all need to lay off romo and think about the years after Aikman. The Chutch's, Quincy's, Henson's, Verde's, Bledsoe's...........

I love how he has a bad game and everyone is all over him and knows all his flaws and why he will never win a big game.
Look, he played like crap yesterday, no way to cover that up. But all of a sudden we have 10 experts that knew that all along and have now decided that the Cowboys are terrible. It was one game that was not detrimental to the season. It was a blow, but not a knock out punch.

Once again I said from the beginning and several dozen times since then that Romo is an average qb at best. He has done nothing in the last 2.5 years to prove me wrong, especially not in December when it really matters. I never said I was an expert, but I sure as hell wasn't going to jump on the bandwagon of an unproven backup like he was the second coming of Tom Brady. Romo is the Jerry Jones of NFL qb's, great at marketing himself and his team with average results on the field.

I threw in the Romosexual and Ninja Go Deep comment. I can't say he's the best or the worst QB for Dallas. Everyone has their funks. Romo just tends to get into a December funk, every year.

I thought Dallas would lose yesterday, but when we were up by 10 with less than 10 to play, you cannot make those types of mistakes.

According to Whitten, those mistakes were his fault, not Romo's.

They very well could've been, receivers and qbs get crossed up all the time, but there is no denying that Romo was off yesterday. He was throwing passes over receiver’s heads for most of the game.

I know. He was terrible yesterday.
But Sully used those mistakes at the end as his barometer.

Whitten was trying to protect his buddy. Much like I do, when I tell everyone how great a guy Matt is despite his negative karma rating.

That could be the case. But most likely its not.
If you are worrying about protecting your buddy only seconds after an interception or a bad pass play, then you do not need to be on the field, you need to be waiting in his hotel room.
They are professionals. They don't make it a point to go lie to protect each other.
