what is the advantage of a pop up site over a regular 2 dimensional site?

When I was a kid we had one of those pop up campers. My Dad would have to crank this deal until the top went up and the beds slid out. I always thought that was the coolest thing. Looking back I think: What a whip.
Later we would go fishing where he'd yell at me to be quiet and watch where I was throwing the damn lure because I kept getting hung up.
I think this is why I love camping, so much.*

we had a pop up camper for a little while.
I thought they were cool.

We kept ours for a couple of years then we bought a 29 foot trailer. It was better, but I still hated camping.

YAY! Leaving work early! So excited. Sorry suckas... as I was saying in another thread... essential vs. cube dweller Oh I absolutely acknowledge the fact that I am absolutely 100% a cube dweller at this point in time. I hope to soon change that. Hopefully I'll find something out early next week.

what is the advantage of a pop up site over a regular 2 dimensional site? no you dont need to have a pop up to have a pop up site and from what ive been told, the pop up sites are bigger and may have water and elect. so ive been told
