Ronaldo did not die. He tore is ACL. It will be tough to come back from at his age. But in his prime he was a hell of a player. He won 3 world player of the year awards in a row. Everyone should know Zidane for his brilliant play. However, he will be remembered for that one incident at the last World Cup.

They won't put him down. He will probably try to make a comeback. They are saying he should be out about 9 months. IMHO, its time to put him out to pasture.
