I have never seen a team distance itself from a player as much as the Stars have with Sean Avery. He must be a world class a-hole.

Oh, it is so hilarious that they've done this. I can't stand the Stars but I'm glad they've done this. They've scored major points with me. I absolutely hate Sean Avery. I cheered last year when he lacerated his spleen in the playoffs. He is a total douche and the ultimate Chris Chris. I couldn't believe 1) that the Stars signed that poison and 2) that they gave him so much money. He was on a Rangers' broadcast after he signed and made an off-handed comment about a collision between David Murphy and Pudge. TAG made a comment about it a few innings later. It was hilarious.
Was what he said that bad? No. But when you've been suspended several times and EVERYBODY hates you, you should be a little more careful. I think it would have been more appropriate for the team to suspend him.
But like Mike said, I have NEVER seen a team throw another teammate under the bus like the Stars have. Even Ralphie was on WBAP yesterday morning trashing him. You know it's bad when the play-by-play guy is ripping him.
