exactly.
You can't have it both ways. If you blame him now, then you have to give credit for the glory days.
And once again, the trump card is 3 superbowls in the last 16 yrs. Only one other team has accomplished that feat in that amount of time.

Who hired Jimmie Johnson? Again, I said the last 12 years. I already said he gets some of the credit for the first 4 years, but y'all don't want to give him any of the blame for the last 12. You are dreaming if you think Cowher will ever be the HC of the Cowboys. He knows that Jerry will never give him the time or the power to build a good team. He will just hire another lame duck coach who will fail just like the guys before him. Just get used to the fact that as long as Jerry is calling the shots, the Cowboys will be nothing more than a good regular season team.

No, I was dreaming when I thought Bill Parcells would ever coach the Cowboys.
Oh wait...Jerry made that happen when everyone said it never would.

Fischer is right...the players got flat out beat yesterday. The love child of Bear Bryant, Woody Hayes, and George Halas couldn't have coached the team to a win. The OL got beat all day. Leonard Little couldn't be stopped. Kick coverage was horrible. The new punter sucked. Whitten and TO dropped easy passes. Barber needs glue on his hands. Those all fall at the hands of the players.

That is your cowboy-hater interpretation. The team went 13-3 the following year. Hardly a failure.
I think we are repeating ourselves.

Wow, Stubbs and I agree on something. Don't get used to it... That was plain to see. Ultimately the blame falls on the coach but as observers who don't have to make any decisions, it was plain to see that the players were flat out beat in every facet of the game. I think they have too many injuries to overcome. The McBriar injury may be the biggest.

Easily a failure when you are the Yankees of football. Like I have said half a dozen times before, when you are the Cowboys winning regular season games is not enough.
