All 4 of them got together on the cab ride to the game and thought that term up.

No, I thought it up on the fly. I figured the ref was a tree-hugging Stanford fan due to some of the calls. Last week we had a back judge make 4 calls from at least 25 yards away. This isn't just limited to TCU. I've seen horrible officiating around the country and in the NFL. MLB umpiring was awful this year too. Hockey was bad as well.
There will be a nice TCU contingent there. Sold out of the allotment and Frog fans have been buying up the east side. Low estimates are 6000. High-10000. Either way, it's better than the 1000 SMU brought to Fort Worth last year.

According to Stubbs, the frogs are pitching a shut-out so far this year. Since the only two scores were practically given away and poor officiating. Typical. Very Typical.

I like what SMU did to that field last year.

It's true. SFA scored when it was 42-0...in the 2nd. Stanford scored on a blocked punt and a reverse after back-to-back horrible calls that yanked all the momentum out of the Frogs' hands. Given up 3 TDs this year-only two by the D. Blocked punt was the punter's fault. You could have timed him with a calendar.

What did they do the field? From DMN last September: Grassroots marketing: TCU officials discovered an unwelcome present on the field at Amon Carter Stadium. SMU fans added an entry to the list of series pranks, using grass killer to spray the word "PONY" with an up arrow beside it. The Mustangs have incorporated the phrase "Pony Up" as part of a marketing blitz.

The field crew attempted to cover it up by painting it over, but apparently it was still very visible. Can't find any pictures.

Yeah...they weren't too bright in trying to fix it. They eventually just let it be and waited for the Roundup to wear off. No worries-we still dominated.

Yeah...The prank before that was much better. During halftime, the SMU band all dumped rye seed down their pants during the halftime show. No one noticed anything had happened until the next spring, when a huge letter M for Mustangs sprouted up on the field. The field superintendent must hate SMU.
