was on display last night as Sulpher Springs played Wichita Falls Rider.
Great game with those East Texas boys pulling out the win at the end. I was most impressed with the coaching on both sidelines. That SS coach, I think his name is Owens, is a helluva coach.

those are great programs.
Two great quarterbacks.
One of my good coaching buddies was the DC at Sulpher Springs last year (he is now the HC at Arlington Heights). He spoke very, very highly of the HC at Sulpher.

I think the kid at Rider is going to Michigan and the kid from SS is undecided. They listed about 10 schools that had offered him, but I think he may have some academic issues.

The other game on TV last night was SA Madison vs New Braunfels. Good game but Unicorns is the gayest name for a football team I have ever heard.

sure is. Had you never heard of them before?
NB is on my top ten list for HC positions one of these days.

Never heard of it. You need to change that name if you get to be HC.
I'd be interested in seeing the CJMF Top Ten.

I don't think they would let you change the name.
I'll try to compile that list.

In no particular order:
Brenham- Small town with a big school. Great Community support, great athletes on a consistent basis.
Desoto- Great athletes all the time, town is a little suspect. But I think you could win there year in and year out.
Plano/Plano East- Always going to have athletes. Its on the East Side of the Metroplex so I would be closer to the great East Texas Bass lakes. Good pay.
Wimberly- In a beautiful part of the state. Good mix of kids. Nice town. Small school.
New Braunfels- great community. Good sized 4A school. Big German kids. Will be good on a consistent basis.
Waxahachie- the town is a little suspect, but they have great athletes and they get after it. Pretty good support.
Bellville- Great town in a great part of the state. Always have good athletes and great support
Boerne- Good athletes, beautiful part of the state. In a very winnable region.
Pilot Point- Pretty neat little town. Good athletes. Close to Ray Roberts and Texoma. Pretty good history.
Celina- Its Celina.
Lake Travis- Rich school and money breeds talent. They pay very well. Winnable Region
Alamo Heights- See Lake Travis
Highland Park- Instant Respect. Community support for the kids is insane. pays well.
There are tons of other ones. Things I would typically look for are the athletes, the mix of kids there, the town, the quality of life, loaction. I typically like one school towns, although there are some great multi school districts out there as well.

"Suspect" is code word for community organizer.
I only saw about 10 minutes of that game last night but the Rider kid looked great. Needs to be a little smarter on 3rd and 4th and 10 (no need to go for the homerun) but great skills on the kid.

Why not Southlake?
What about Stephenville, Brownwood, or Odessa Permian?

Wimberly is a great town. Probably want to move there once I start having kids. Also, there are very few Canadians there.

I just don't really like SLC. I've never met anyone from there that wasn't a tool.
Nimitz sucks.
Permian is located in a terrible part of the world.
Stephenville might make the list, but I am afraid they are on their way down, a la lamarque. They are good this year, but I think they are fading fast.
Brownwood, probably so. Never been there, so I don't know for sure.
