A gaffler is someone who lacks the filter that says "does the person I am talking to give a shit about what I am saying?" There is always one at every show. I myself have been known to turn into a gaffler after drinking a few beers. anyone can turn into a gaffler after enough drinks.

I know plenty of gafflers that don't need any drinks to gaffle.

Sully, you are no longer a factor. You are a reflection getting smaller and smaller in my rear view mirror.

What really sucks is I can tell when someone stops paying attention but then I make it my goal to get their attention back.

Yeah, when I notice a person start looking around the room as I'm talking to them, I know I'm a gaffler. Happens to me all the time.

When you are talking to someone, they start looking around the room so you stop talking to them. About 10 seconds later they come back to you and say, "Go ahead, I'm listening." No your not ass, if you don't want to hear about all the cool people I know from the rp50pr message board then fine, don't f'in talk to me.

I usually make my comments short so as to not be a gaffler. Kelly gets annoyed when I go up and talk to celebs or semi-celebs. I'm not going to talk their ear off and give a Chris Farley interview. Just want to say hi, I appreciate what you do, and be on my way. First instance, when we saw Randy Rogers at Hula Hut, Kelly didn't want me to say anything. I just told him I like the new tunes and I'm looking forward the new record. That was it. He then initiated the return conversation. I may have at one point been a gaffler but now I show up for the game and then let the game come to me.
