Curious as to the lack of the ballad at Peso shows lately. Seems like songs such as "Highway Blues" (original version=greatness), "Shake", "When I wake Up", "Take the Wheel", "Wednesday Carol" and the greatest RP50PR cover of all time-"Broke Down" have been MIA.
Your thoughts on why this is? Or...am i wrong?

It is because we have been playing shorter shows now. It used to be pretty common for us to play for 2-3 hours, and now we only are usually playing up to 90 minutes, and we have so much new original stuff (not ballads) that it is hard to squeeze the ballad in. We will get some in on Saturday in Denton though.

Brooks is right. And especially for an hour long show, it is hard to find a place to fit it in without seeming out of place. Another part of it is that we don't get the same kick out of playing a ballad as we do the rockers.

Not saying the audience doesn't agree with you on this one...they probably do.

I was thinking the same thing Yesterday Mike. Miss Someplace Else. Yeah. I am listening to some "Blow the Soot Out" today and those are some great songs. You miss them when you don't hear them at a show.

You should make it up to Denton if you leave there by 11pm.
