A Wheels Coming OFF Watch for your Texas Rangers.
After the last few games, I see the wheels flying off this season. This watch may be upgraded to a warning by the end of the week. Stay tuned. We now return you to your regular posting.

It all comes back to pitching...again. But, the plan is to win in 09-10, so anything that happens this year is a bonus.

The Pen needs to get their act together. That's two games in a row they blew.

They won't. We'll have to bring in someone else to do the job.

they suck. they have one good month and people *cough* stubbs *cough* drink the koolaid.
Until they get some consistent, solid pitching they will not win consistently.

Isn't that a redundant statement? BP is the most used in the bigs. Starting pitching has been surprisingly consistent with all the injuries. Benoit needs to get the crap beat out of him. Pretty sad when you have to bring the closer in down 4 runs b/c no one else could pitch.

Why the hell do they let the fake Mexican Brooks leave during the season to go to Venezuala or the DR or Columbia to "take care of personal business"? By God, Nolan Ryan or Bob Gibson never put anything before the team during the season. Their personal business was getting batters out or sticking a fastball in someone's ear if they pissed 'em off.

There is no way they can keep giving up so many runs and contend for a title.

I had no communication with the outside world for 5 days...so did anything specific happen for Ponson to get released or was he just an all-around sorry guy and they had enough?

We traded away the best pitcher in the league right now in the offseason, because he sucked for us the past two years, but we got the ultimate badass in return, Josh Hamilton; then, April was horrible, but we made it back to .500 in May, and are now just 8 games out in the West, and playing ok baseball.
Pitching still needs help, but we keep hitting well and scoring runs. May have up to 4 on the all star team this year.

5 guys are definately deserving and 6 have a chance.
In: Hamilton Bradley Kinsler
Probable: Padilla Young-AL is very weak at that position
Should go but probably won't: Murphy-Joe Morgan was going through a list of ROY candidates and didn't even metion DM.
