Bugs Bunny was one of the best two-way baseball players of the era.

I would love to know how you know that Seabiscuit "captivated the nation"
I am sure it was a nice story. But I've never heard someone from that generation mention it. I have heard plenty mention watching boxing and baseball and football in its early years. My Grandfather was a horse breeder. He never once mentioned Seabiscuit. He did mention all the sports figures of his youth often though.
I don't think he captivated the nation.

What's wrong with Seabiscuit? Bang the Drum Slowly is good but slow in some parts. I like Pride of the Yankees. What's that one with Dennis Quaid where he's a pitcher for the D-Rays? My dad likes that one...mainly because he was in it...at least they showed his section but you can't see him. The first Mighty Ducks was good. What about Ali? I'm not a Will Smith fan but he was pretty good in that role. My #6 would be the Bad News Bears...all but the new one. North Dalls Forty is pretty good too. Nothing wrong with Seabiscuit or North Dallas Forty. Bad News Bears with Tatum O'neal and Walter Mathau was a groundbreaking cinematic masterpiece. First time I ever heard a little kid cuss on the big screen, for a kid in the 70's it was life changing.

Bugs Bunny was one of the best two-way baseball players of the era. Don't forget his basketball skillz in Space Jam!
