About to leave for the show, I'll give a drunken recap when I back to Jen's.

if you know drunken finch, then you know there will be no drunken recap.
Finch is the one that will be going strong, acting fine. Then at the drop of a hat, he is done. Out. Finished. He will just shut down.

That is exactly what happened. I got on the computer, logged in, and woke up two hours later with my hands still on the keyboard. I got a little drunker than I expected to.
But about the show:
First, there were not as many people as I had hoped, but its Austin and if you aren't the new trendy thing to watch it's hard to get people to come.
Second, the band just put on one hell of a show. It amazes me how well they play their songs live. It's hard to tell the difference from a song on a cd to a song live, which I think is a good thing.
Third, I got really drunk and had a bad ass time, which is all that really matters.

Good recap. You haven't seen them live in a while have you?

It's been a long while, but I'm doing my best to make up for it.

As long as you go to the shows and support the Pesos, we may look past the fact that you are a Tex-ex. Welcome aboard.
What prompted you to go to the show? Do you know Finch?

Went to the show to see Austin Collins, the Pesos were an added bonus. Why would you "look past the UT" fact? No I don't know anyone named Finch.

Sips (pardon the perjorative remark) aren't always held in the highest regard in these parts. There is some Aggie, Roothog, Horned Frog, and UNT representation here but no Sips. But if you can spread the word on the Pesos we can look past that.

I will hold all derogatory comments until you post more so as not to run you off.
I am an Ag, Finch is an Ag. Not much love for the sips here. But you could bring lots of fun discussions to this board. I am looking forward to it.

Ag's, huh? Thanks for letting me know. I will type s-l-o-w-e-r and not use any "big" words. I wouldn't want to confuse you guys.

Sorry, didn't mean to overlook the swine or frog representation. I will keep all words under 4 syllables for you also.
As for the UNT---Hey, the world needs ditch diggers and surveyors too; right?

And if it weren't for Sips, criminal justice programs across the country would be strug-a-ling...
FWIW, my old roommate at TCU surveys golf courses and other large commercial parcels of land and makes almost 200k a year.
