900 miles for a close-up shot.
Good effort.

Does bad taste in beer lead to bad taste in music...

He said he would. I wasn't fortunate enough to get on the bus. I was distracted when we were invited and I missed out. I told Pete Coatney about the band though.

I was distracted when we were invited and I missed out. This never happened.

Sure did. One of the club's promoters cornered me into a conversation and the next thing I know I look to the side and the other two guys I was with are walking to the bus with a case of Bud Light in their arms.

I woke up with a killer hangover from the awesomeness that was thrown down that night.

I'm sure I'll get hell for this and some of you probably won't believe it, but Jack gave me a shout out on stage Friday night. He saw me during the soundcheck and was startled to see me. I saw him afterwards and he was on his phone but told me that Make a Wish is on the setlist now that I was there and to make sure I catch him before they head out. During the show, I went back and forth from behind the stage to the front and he gave me a few knowing nods. His 2nd to last song was MAW and he started it out by giving me a little shout out. He was looking behind the stage for me but I was out front by then. I don't recall everything he said b/c I was pretty drunk by then but it went something like "there was this guy in Dallas that remembered this song and it meant a lot to him and it means a lot to me that it had that kind of impact on him. I don't know what the hell he's doing in El Paso, Texas tonight but I'm glad he's here. This one's for him." I must say, it's pretty cool of him to remember that. Then I spoke with him and the band after the show and that's when I gave him the CD.
