95.9 in FW is holding a vote to see if listeners want strictly top 40 country or Texas Country. I'm sure it's a marketing ploy above all else. Seriously, are top 40 country fans in this area more passionate than Texas Country fans? Anyway, voting ends tomorrow, I think. I can't find the number b/c the site is blocked at work but just google 95.9 the Ranch. If they go strictly Texas Country, they will no doubt finally start playing RP&50PR.

Looks like the site is down in order to be updated.
I bet we are getting more Nashville and less Texas.

Good riddance if they do. FW doesn't need 4 mainstream options. I think it's just a marketing bit. They are still advertising Wednesday nights at 8.0 so I don't think they'd do that if they were going top 40. I know you can call and vote but I don't know the number.

Well...looks like the Ranch has gone TOTALLY TEXAS Country. I would think this would be great news for the RP50PR. I will continue bombarding them with request for Atlantic City.

Total advertising ploy. Too bad they aren't promoting next Thursday's show.

I think their Texas Music series is on Wednesday nights. I'm not sure they have anything to do with Thursday's show.
This morning they had your buddy Jack on for about an hour taking phone calls.

I think it's just so weird that 8.0 will promote the hell out of Wednesday nights and do absolutely nothing for Thursday. My brother's gf works there and says that every other night during the week is dead.

Well, when I say during the week, I mean M-F...w/ the exception of Friday night which is part of the weekend.
