Let me get this straight...I have never heard Cyn utter a word about hockey, let alone the Stars, but the moment the Mavericks spit the bit, she's all hyping up the Stars. Hmmm...Coincidence?
FWIW, the Stars don't stand a chance against Det. In fact, I don't think anyone does.

They play tonight... and I have platinum tickets to that game.
I dont talk about the Stars because I dont know much about the players and they're stats.

players are NOT stats. They are people.
Every town and every winning team (especially flash in the pan teams) has bandwagoners. Dallas people are no worse than those in every other town that do it.
San Antone can't because they only have one team. Houston can't because all their teams suck.
That leaves Dallas. Stars games are always well attended, so there are a good number of real fans, too.
