sports.espn.go.com/chat/sportsnation/mag/franchiseRanksThat's right, number 2 in all of professional sports. What I don't understand is how are they not number 1. They have average ranking of 7.5, while the colts have an average of 18.125. And damn, all the way down at 46, that's got to suck.

Are you talking about the Spurs? I'm sure being the only game in town and just recently winning a championship helps that ranking.
What's funny is how that team ranked #46 comes to San Antonio for a couple of weeks in July and basically owns the city. Do you think San Antonio would trade Dallas the Spurs for the Cowboys?
I bet they would.

If you are talking franchise v. franchise I would say no. But since it is football v. basketball, and football is king in Texas and the NFL is king in America, I would say yes.

I bet there are just as many Cowboys fans in SA as Spurs fans. Maybe more.

If you are referring to my Joe, you would be wrong. He is more of a Mavs fan and he is currently rooting for the Suns.
Now that I think of it, he does wear a Longhorn hat everyday.

I guess rooting for the Suns is like rooting for the Mavs. Always pretty good but can never get passed the good guys.
