I guess they are relying on the arm of their lead footed michigan reject.
I bet Petrino isn't recruiting too hard because he knows he will have jetted for some other job by the time these cats are actually enrolled.

Do you mean the lead footed michigan reject that turned down the Aggies, so he could play real football in the SEC?

Does petrino even own liscensed arkansas gear or does he just wear generic black and white clothes that will work for all 3 teams he has coached in the past year or so?
By the way, the Aggies did not want Mallet. They had him in for a visit and did not pull the trigger. He had a choice between the hogs and baylor.

Yeah, I know the Aggies didn't want him or Chase Daniels, or Javan Sneed or Earl Campbell or Vince Young or...any other player that they didn't sign. They always get just what they want.
Working for three different teams means that people want you. People want you because you are good at what you do. Petrino is very good at what he does. He will be at Arkansas for a while. At least long enough to continue the football dominance over all things Aggie.

Working for three different teams means that people want you. People want you because you are good at what you do. True, but most coaches like to spread those teams out over several years, not three.

Good read. I like Briles' comment.
"I like the passion you play with - see if you can make a camp date-"
Sounds promising. I'd be there tomorrow.

The Ags really wanted Snead
No one wanted Daniel, that was a miss by all
They wanted VY or Reggie McNeal...the first one to commit got the ship. The Ags got the raw end of that one.
No clue on Earl the Pearl. But I am sure the Ags would have taken him, he was good.
The Aggies miss on nearly everyone they offer and want.
None of those facts is remotely involved with the fact that (after leaving Michigan) they did not offer Mallet.

Boy, I just hate to do this but: sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=3200307Jim Mallett said his son considered Tennessee, Texas A&M and UCLA, but after visiting Arkansas, Ryan Mallett didn't make any trips to visit the other schools.
"Arkansas has always been a favorite of his," Jim Mallett said, "because he grew up a Razorback."
There are about 10 to 15 more if you google Ryan Mallett, Texas A&M.

Really? Did Miami schedule an official recruiting visit with you? Cause if they didn't, I don't think that has anything to do with Mallett and Texas A&M.
