No, there's almost 50k there. Opening Day always sells out. This is the first one I've missed since 2002. Wish I were there. Had a shitty 24 hours so far. Came out to a flat tire this morning after telling everyone yesterday I was going to fake sick to go to the game...that didn't make me look good.

So, Tyler gets an invitation to the Coors Distributing Tailgate party through work. This thing is genius. Invite-only, so mostly Coors people and a few of their bigger distribution accounts (restaurants, bars, etc.). This thing reminded me of the outdoor music festivals. We get there around 10:45AM and drink free CL's up until gametime (1:00PM). Live music from Casey Donahew (not that bad), free Hooter's wings and corn dogs, Hooter's and Coors Light girls everywhere, free tacos from some Mexican place I've never heard of, Lonestar 92.5 helped sponser the thing so good music during the bands break and free t-shirts, koozies, etc. All around a badass time. Then, onto the game. Free tickets from Coors. Opening Day festivities are awesome. Flyover from a B1 Bomber was badass. Weather was perfect. Jason Jennings blows. Strangers are disappointing as usual. But, at that point, my day was made. Long drive home through traffic and hangover, though.

At least the weather was good. Last year was brutal. I got sick. The wind was horrible. The bald eagle was pretty cool though.

That is not a proven fact.
That's pretty cool. Every time I go, it's just with my dad but there are tons of people tailgating. One day, I'll be as cool as Tyler and get an invite to one of these parties.
