ESPN has Miami #1. Clemson 2. The 'Canes landed 5 of the top 7 LB recruits. 2 will go on to be All-American DEs.
TCU didn't have that many spots to offer. USC ran into the same thing this year. Overall, I think they made some mistakes but I didn't expect much. The went after higher-profile athletes than they normally did and didn't land them and the athletes they normally recruit were heavily targeted by others. I'm not too upset b/c it was a small class but if they pulled that stunt on a large class I'd have cause for alarm. Either way, I feel confident that GP and the staff will continue to take mid-grade talent and make them into top-notch athletes.

Miami signed a bunch of thugs. half of their class will be in prison 3 yrs from now. Very typical of them.
TCU is on the downside of success. It was nice to win a few MWC titles and nearly sell out a game, but back to reality.
On another note, cyn's tektards class ranked #42. Just good enough to continue to reak havoc on my ags.

Rivals has Alabama, ND, Florida, The U, and OU as their top 5 in that order.

And USC ran into the same thing this year...but somehow still managed a top 10 class.

Problem one is that Stubbs even put TCU and USC in adjoining sentences.

That is a problem. I would understand if it was SMU...but TCU?

Rivals ranks according to how many subscribtions they can sell.
Recruiting rankings are meaningless.
