Will be made official Monday. How could LSU let both of them get away?

LSU is going to get either Spurrier or Tubeville.
Arkansas is screwed.

This year is so crazy.
FWIW I would never go to michigan over lsu. I know louisiana ain't the greatest place in the world but it sure beats the hell outta michigan. Plus they are right there to suckle on the teat of texas talent.

I still think he might go, I watched that press conference. He didn't come right out and say "I am not going to Michigan"
Maybe not, though.

He said he'll be the coach next year...yeah, next year in the championship game on Jan. 7 then he's out.

No, I think his talks with Meeshigan went awry and he decided that lsu ain't all bad. He's staying.
I heard that Lloyd Carr can't stand miles.

I heard that he was telling recruits about Carr's Parkinson's issues. Pretty sorry. Is he that good of a coach anyway? I think he's highly overrated and has been more lucky than good this year. He's made some boneheaded decisions over his 3 years there.

Miles is one of the weirdest coaches out there in that he is so polarizing.
If you ask one guy, Miles is the greatest coach in the nation. Talk to another and he is a low down, lying, no good, no talent hack.
I have met him a couple of times and he was really down to earth and seemed pretty cool (cannot say that for very many D1 coaches that I have met). Also, though, we were sending him our qb so that could have skewed it...

I know a lot of OSU people hate him...and not just for leaving but for how he did things while he was there.
