I read some speculation of Spurrier to either LSU or A&M.

Nutt to Ole Miss. Agreed to deal just hours after stepping down at Ark. If you believe he agreed to the Ole Miss deal AFTER he "stepped down" at Arkansas; I'd like to talk to you about a timeshare I'm looking to unload.

Well, I'm sure it was all contingent on him stepping down at Arkansas...

if arkansas didn't like nutt, why offer him an extension? An attempt to save face and keep Arkansas from being compared with Nebraska's firing of Frank Solich. Nutt was told to look for a new job after the Tenn game. He (agent)started talking with Ole Miss then and got the job. Now when coaches or TV guys say..."How can they fire Nutt after he beat the NUMBER ONE team in the nation? Arkansas can say, "Hey...he resigned, we wanted him to stay".
