Miami has won 0 titles since joining the ACC. All I said was ACC teams...not the ACC.

Were they an ACC team when they won their national championships?
Do you know what I do for a living?

No, they were still in the Big Least. They joined July 1, 2004. MNC was for 2001.

I prefer the playoff format I posted earlier.

I'm just afraid it would take away from the general excitement that every Saturday creates.

We already have a playoff system...its every freaking saturday of the year. That is what makes College Football so great. If we had a playoff, there would be the same griping and complaining we have now, only it would be because tcu got left out of the playoffs instead of the BCS.

I agree Fischer...and TCU wouldn't have anything to gripe about b/c if they win their conference, they get in.

If you count the Big East, that's 6 conferences. That would mean that 4 conferences would get 3 teams. It would be better to have every conference champ (including the Sun Belt and MAC). By my count, that's 11 teams. Throw in 5 wild cards (top 5 highest ranked non conference champs) and you get 16.

I hope it won't but I think that's the best scenario if there is a playoff.
