Haha I missed that beating. And I actually have never seen an episode of FNL....seeing as my Friday nights are usually occupied by first dates and business parties.

hahahaha mutually agreed. I actually LOLed.
On to other inquiries... Yes GPF would take the job, yes, I would go with him (but would still keep close ties to the Cubs) and Julie would have to come to CS unless she could match the 180K a year I would be receiving.

Odds are she couldn't match that in San Marcos but she might could in CS working for Mobile Mom's Laundry Service.

Speaking of FNL...Mike, did you notice the flub they had on Friday? Coach Taylor is at TMU...but when he was on field at practice, they showed Texas State in the background. That TSU has a pretty nice field...or so it appears.

Yeah, I caught that.
Why do they always use fictitious schools in those situations? That always beats me down.

Seeing rumors and rumors of rumors that Fran will be getting a buyout of between 8 and 10 million American dollars.
Looks like another bidding war between Arkansas and aTm is on the horizon. Somebody is going to get very overpaid.

Add Nebraska to the mix too. Callahan is out before the bowl.

Three premier programs looking for head coaches...
Ok, just for fun...Let's throw out a few names of possible takers.
My vote is that Jim Leavitt will take one of the 3 jobs.

I think Leavitt will stay right where he's at. He won't leave until Bobby Bowden croaks.

He is from South Texas though. What about the Boise State coach?

Just to add to the mix:
Michigan might be in the hunt for a coach. Which means that LSU might be in the hunt for a coach.
Arizona Notre Dame Baylor Mississippi State Tennessee (doubtful)
That DC for Auburn will go somewhere Pelini will be at Nebraska (I've heard) someone will try to make a run at Spurrier arkansas will go after Butch
