If Colt McCoy doesn't get hurt, or figured out, tu has a great chance. They also need to shore up their secondary that got thrashed last year. They have great wide receivers (two of them being former Brenham greats) and a great back.
Now, OU and A&M might have something to say about all of that. I am just not too sure yet of my Ags. I think they will be much improved, but how much remains to be seen.

I was watching an interview with Colt this morning and he looks like he has matured so much since last year. He has a little more size on him and he no longer looks like he's 12. Maybe 16 now. He has a season under his belt now so he is coming in to this season with a little more experience. It's true about the running game but I still have faith. Texas has a cream puff schedule until October. That may end up hurting them in the long run. A&M may prove to be a contender and you can never count out OU. Some experts are leaning toward Nebraska....we'll see. One thing is for sure, it's almost time!!!!!

I'm sorry John, I'm usually on your side, but as I remember you have gotten onto Stubbs for posting in the wrong thread....... my apologies, slap on the wrist.

Yea I think you've gotten on him before when he tried to throw in Ranger talk when we started the football threads. But either way you are still in better condition seeing as you are still talking football and he spared us with Stranger talk.

I am going to need to see some proof of your allegations, sir.
Either way, I admit my guilt in thread hijacking in the second degree. Its my cross to carry.
